Are my babies really going to start school?

So we found out last week, that our little baby boys will be starting school on July 26. Even though it is preschool, it is a huge step. Has it already been that long, that my little babies are old enough to go to school. They are super excited, daddy is super excited, and mommy is super scared!! Don't get me wrong, I think it will be nice to have a LITTLE break, but 5 days a week for 7 hours a day. WOW that is way too long to be away from my boys. We have three months before they start, and I am already panicking about what is going to happen. Are we separating them, the school wants to separate them, I am worried for their little hearts. They have been attach to each other since they were in my belly. It has to be hard for them, it breaks my heart thinking of them being apart. On the other hand, it will help them to become more independent and not depend on each other. Maybe they will have their own little friends. But what if one doesn't make friends, and he wont even have his brother there to protect them. The school we decided on is a 5 star school in North Carolina. It is the only 5 star in the county. And they let them bring their own lunch box. Some other ones we checked doesn't allow for preschoolers to bring their own lunch. But I am already making different lunch list to get prepared. We have so much we have to buy in such little time. I know they will survived, but will I?

Jackson's Tonsil and Adnoids Surgery

So today is the day that Jackson goes for his surgery. We are very nervous but also relieved that he will no longer have these horrible abscess tonsils. But we started the night before of making Jackson happy and comfortable. We drop Karson off with my parents and told Jackson he could pick anywhere he wanted to go eat. And he chose his favorite place Ice Cream & Pizza Works. Afterwards we took him Target to let him pick out anything he wanted to take to the hospital with him. And he picked out the Toy Story Buzz lightyear wings. So we also had to go to Darrels Church softball game. And of course my cutie pie wore his wings. So Jackson was pretty relaxed when we went to the surgical unit for his surgery. (but to his surprised they didn't have toys like the normal hospital he loves) and he was ready to go after that. It wasn't long that they gave his "funny" medicine. And he was out for the count. The surgery went well, and was over in 20 mins. They came to get us, because Jackson was very angry and screaming when he woke up. They thought he just didnt handle the anthesia well, but they dont realize that is just Jackson. He is just like his daddy, cranky when he is tired. So we were able to come home, and Jackson wanted pizza. So we gave him pizza and he ate that for two days. The third day was hard on him, alot of pain. With the right meds he is slowly improving

Waiting for our room

Got Mr. Hospital Bear. He was even nice enough to ask to get one for Karson.Scared lil baby

Easter Day 2010

I love Easter, and everything about Easter. I love dying eggs with the boys. I love making their baskets from scratch. I love their excitement of hunting eggs. I love Church on Easter Sunday. Our church put on amazing Easter Sunday program. Love having our family together on Easter this year. We had the privilege of having Easter diner at our house this year. So my parents Rick and Bonnie came down and so was Darrel's mom and step-dad , Sandi and Bob. I am glad they were able to enjoy the celebration with us

The boys Easter Basket. They were very excited to wake up to find what the Easter Bunny had left them. There one major request was the Toy Story "slinky the dog" Even though we told them that this particular toy was really for babies. They didn't mind at all. The cutest thing Jackson said was "I love slinky the dog" and "the slinky loves me too "

Jackson priceless face seeing his Easter Basket

Karson hunting for eggs. And he was off. He loves Easter time!!

Easter Ce-LEE-Bration and Egg Coloring

We had such a great day at our church "Lee Park " The boys enjoyed making windsocks, face painting, egg hunting and learning the real meaning for Easter. They were over excite about watching the older children peformed a concert. I can't wait to see them up there on stage in a couple years.

Good Friday 2010

We kicked off our Easter weekend making cupcakes!! The boys love cooking, and I actually love watching them learn how to cook and using their imaginations. And the best thing about Easter, is the fact I can import alot of pink into our wardrobes and into cooking also!!!
